1. What types of Deals are offered at Silver-Café.com?
There are basically three types of bargains: coupons, sales and free shipping. Coupons are codes that are entered to get a special discount. Sales are special prices on a specific item or group of items and may not require any codes at all.

2. Can deals be combined?
That depends. Usually, a single coupon can be combined with a sale price. Most sores don’t allow use of more than one coupon per order. See the store detail page for more information on a particular store’s policies.

3. What other restrictions are there on coupons?
That varies from store to store. Some coupons are only for new customers. Some coupons only apply to specific product categories. Most coupons can only be used once per customer. Unless stated otherwise, most coupons listed here are for either new or returning customers, can be applied to any product, and cannot be combined with other coupons.

4. Where do I enter a coupon code?
Some coupons are automatically applied when you click through the link. Others must be entered in the shopping cart or during checkout. The field where you enter the code varies from store to store. Some call it a “Coupon Code”, a “Promotion Code”, or other similar names. See the store detail page for more information on where to enter coupon codes for a specific store.

5. What should I do if the coupon does not work?
There may be a number of reasons why a coupon does not work. Because merchants can, and do, change their coupons and promotions frequently, make sure you see the discount in your shopping basket before you make your order final. If the shopping basket does not show a discount, it can mean that either:

  • The coupon code has not been properly entered.
  • The restrictions for the coupon code have not been met. Check the fine print to make sure your purchase meets the requirements (if any) to use the coupon code.
  • The coupon has been withdrawn by the merchant or is no longer valid. Some merchants do not indicate how long their coupon codes are valid for, so if the code does not work, it is safe to assume that the coupon code is no longer valid.
  • The merchant website is not functioning properly.
  • If you try all of the above, and the coupon still does not work, please give us feedback in response to our question “Problems redeeming this coupon? Please email us”.

6. Where do these coupons and deals come from?
Some come directly from the stores. Some come from visitors to Silver-Café.com. Some come from newsletters message boards, and other web sites. All are believed to be accurate and legitimate for you to use. We are not however, held responsible for Coupons and Sales that are not valid or do not work as stated.

7. Why do some deals expire early?
Unlike printed coupons, most online stores reserve the right to change offers at any time. Many deals are based on both a time frame and a certain promotion budget. If the bargain is more popular than expected, the marketing budget for the bargain runs out earlier than anticipated and the coupon gets pulled early.

8. What should I do if I have a question regarding my online purchase?
Call the store directly and try to get the problem resolved. Silver-Café is a free online shopping guide that saves you time and money by helping you find the best deals. Silver-Café is not a store. 9. What can I do to make sure I won’t have any problems?
First, make sure that your coupons, discounts, and sale prices are reflected before you finalize your order. Second, save copies of your confirmation page, confirmation e-mail, shipping notice, and any other correspondence. Third, make sure to check your products after you receive them. If any returns are necessary, make sure to follow the store’s RMA guidelines and ship it back with an insured, trackable carrier.
